airZ n railZ, TR Parks' annual slopestyle event will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2013.  This year will bring a new element: BIG AIR!  Also, we have added a MiniMax Division, specially for those kids 14 and under to compete in Pumpkin Park only.

Come out to the Pumpkin and Timber Terrain parks for a Saturday afternoon and evening of music and athleticism to see the best of the best throw down for prizes and recognition. Awards categories include Women, Progressor Skier, Progressor Snowboarder, Pro Skier, Pro Snowboarder, and Men’s and Women’s BigAir.

Date & Time & Location & Format 

Registration is in the lodge by the Ski Shop as follows:

MiniMax – Registration from 9:00 to 10:30 – Competition begins at 11:00

Progressor and Pro – Registration from 10:00 to 12:00 – Prelims at 1:00, Finals after BigAir Qualifier

BigAir – Registration from 2:00 to 3:00 – Qualifier at 3:30, Finals at 7:00

Both parks open for practice until just before the event

Parks closed down to the public during each round of competition

Competitor meetings prior to the start of each event

MiniMax will get 2 scored runs in the Pumpkin Park, best score counts, prizes for the top competitors.

Progressor and Pro Slopestyle will get 2 scored runs in Prelims, best score counts, top 8 go to head to head finals.

BigAir will get 2 scored jumps, best jump counts, top 8 go to head-to-head final

Lift tickets available to competitors for $20. Competitors must be 18 years or older and fill out a registration form and a liability waiver.  Competitors under 18 will need a parent’s signature to compete.  A driver's license or other form of official ID WILL BE REQUIRED for proof of age!

Progressor – 1^st gets $30, 2^nd gets $20, and 3^rd gets $20*

Pro – 1^st gets $300, 2^nd gets $100, 3^rd gets $50, 4^th gets $30, 5^th gets $20*

Females – Cash purse determined by number of entrants*

Safety 

Helmets must be worn at all times. This event is suited primarily for athletes with significant terrain park and rail sliding experience. Event and ski area assumes no responsibility for who may or may not participate so use your best judgment!
